Radish contains ascorbic acid, carotene, vitamin B, up to 5-6 % of sugars, fiber, phytoncides, strong bactericide iysozyme, choline, enzymes, microelements (iodine, sulfur, bromine, magnesium), macroelements (potassium, sodium, ferrum, phosphorus, sulphur-bearing essential oil) and other substances.

It is used for cosmetic purposes: for skin bleaching, elimination of freckles and pigmented spots, as a part of skin care products for dry and aging skin in the case of baldness.
