Carnosine
Item No.
Z 203

Description
Carnosine (beta-alanyl-L-histidine) is a dipeptide consisting of the residues of amino acids of beta-alanine and histidine. It removes the reactive oxygen intermediates (ROI) as well as the alpha-beta unsaturated aldehydes formed from the superoxidated fatty acids of the cellular membranes in the process of oxidative stress. It decelerates the aging processes of the skin cells (fibroblasts). It prevents the structural changes of skin collagen that precludes the loss of the skin flexibility and appearance of wrinkles.
Usage description
It is an anti-oxidizing agent.
