Cocklebur grows in South and Central regions of Europe part, in the Caucasus, in the southern zone in Siberia, Central Asia. It grows in abundance in moist sandy soil along the river banks and ditches, fences, on waste grounds, garbage sites.
Has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic, febrifugal and sedative effects.
