Manuka essential oil

Manuka (leptospernum scoparum l.). Leaves of manuka are used for extra effect of essential oil containing beta-triketone, cineol, pinene, terpinene, cymene, other components. Manuka has expressed bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral, antimycotic, antiallergic, immunostimulating, febrifuge, vulnerary, and analgesic effects. High bactericidal activity of manuka is caused by beta-triketone.
