Patchouli contains patchouli spirit, bulnesen, alpha-guaiene, alfa-patchoulen and eugenol. It exercises antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent, antemetic, anti-toxic, antiviral, incitant, healing, deodorant, diuretic and fungicidal effects.
