Gnocchi with tomato sauce and Fuego
A quick and easy recipe.

Preparation
5 mins
Cooking time
15 mins
Portions Serves 2 people

- 400g ready-made gnocchi from the supermarket
- 2 beef tomatoes
- 1/4 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 1 tbsp. Fuego
- Olive oil
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste
- grated parmesan cheese

Preparing the sauce:

Heat the olive oil in a shallow pan and fry the onion and the garlic cloves for a few minutes. Add the tomato paste and mix.

Season well:

Then add the tomatoes (chopped into small pieces after having removed the skin) and season well, while also adding the Fuego.

Adding the gnocchi:
Let the sauce simmer for 5-10 minutes and then add the gnocchi. Fresh, soft gnocchi do not need to be cooked for long; let them simmer in the sauce for app. 5 minutes. Dried gnocchi must be cooked longer (app. 10 - 15 minutes) and some water should be added.

Sprinkle the parmesan over the gnocchi and serve hot.
