Sandalwood West Oil 10 ml

Satalum album is a wild evergreen tree that grows to a height of about 10 metres. Its pinnate leaves consist of leaflets up to 10 cm long, and the small butterfly flowers are veined yellow or red. The poorer the soil on which the tree grows, the more intensely fragrant is its wood. The valuable oil of harvest-ready 30-year-old sandalwood trees is not only in the wood but also in the roots, which is why the trees cannot simply be felled, but are dug up together with the roots. The colourless to pale yellow, slightly viscous oil is obtained by steam distillation. The oil has a positive effect on blood pressure, the bronchi and our muscles.
