Description
Selenium is an immune stimulant, which contributes to the formation of antibodies, a most powerful antioxidant, protecting cells and preventing DNA genetic violations, counteracting violations of chromosome apparatus, controlling normal life activities of cells, and preventing tumor development. In case of vitamin E deficiency in food, it neutralizes free radicals, making them non-toxic. It controls the formation of the thyroid hormone triiodothyronine and thus regulates metabolism.
