Leaves of Thyme

Contains an essential oil full of thymol, p-cymene, borneol, linalool, pinene and other compounds. The presence of thymol endows thyme with a powerful antibacterial effect. Widely used for cold and flu to encourage sweating and reduce fever. It contains malic and acetic acids, tannins, carotene, vitamins B and C, and flavonoids. Thanks to these substances, thyme is considered effective in the care of thinning and brittle hair. In cosmetology, it is used as a toning and antimicrobial agent, specifically in fighting acne.
